I am a consultant paediatric urologist with a good experience in paediatric surgery. My current practice is based in Portland Hospital for women and children and Cromwell hospital in central London. I have Paediatric Urology clinics in Guildford Nuffield in Surrey as well.

I possess a considerable experience of over 30 years in Paediatric Urology and Paediatric Surgery with a good background in General Surgery. I have been fortunate enough to gain experience in 3 different countries, India, Saudi Arabia and United Kingdom. I have trained in Paediatric Urology at Great Ormond Street hospital for nearly 3 years.

My specialist paediatric urology areas of interest are kidney problems picked up on scans done before birth and following these babies through childhood adolescence till adulthood. I also have vast experience in reconstructive operations like hypospadias, buried penis repair, varicocoele repair and bladder reconstructions. I look after all aspects of foreskin related problems including baby circumcisions.

I have established baby circumcision clinic in Portland Hospital since 2004 offering a complete and comprehensive service for babies born in Portland as well as elsewhere. I have done nearly 2000 baby circumcisions with less than literature published complication rate of 1 – 2%.

My other areas of interest are wetters (urinary incontinence), urinary tract infections (UTIs)...

I also have a vast experience in dealing with all other paediatric urological problems. These include inguinal hernia and hydrocoele repair, orchidopexy for undescended testes, circumcision, cystoscopies for diagnosis and treatment including botox and deflux injection for vesicoureteric reflux, as daycase surgery. Pyeloplasty, nephrectomy, heminephrectomy ureteric reimplantation are some of the kidney operations I specialise in.
